Cormac put his arm around hers as they walked along. "Forget Matt (Reece), whaddaya wanna do now?"

Matt was annonoyed. Also jealos because the only girlfriend he had tried to kill him.
Matt sighed."Well I dont want to be alone so Il come with you. You could need my free- running skills."

"Erm Ok, but as you see we're not really in the mood for running or anything at the moment. We're kinda having a little alone time. But you can come if you want."

'I want the electricity back really, 'cause I've heard the cinema is a nice place to be,' Hiayni replied, not really sure how to go with something like this. She'd never been liked before - everyone had always hated her.

"Wanna come over to my house? It'll be fun. We'll find something to do."

'Umm... okay then,' Haiyani replied, smiling more.

"Ok il leave you two alone for a while. Kaerd come with me and we'l get some weapons. Contact us if you have any bother. Heres my number." Matt gives his number over."ok?"

"Sure thing. Come on Haiyani." He lead her to his house.

Haiyani had never been inside someone else's house before. She'd been strictly kept to the care home and school. That was it.

So this was a new, and probably exciting, experience for her.

They arrived at Cormac's house. "Any idea what you wanna do?" He asked Haiyani as politely as he could. "We're kinda limited now that the electricity's gone."

'Umm...' Haiyani replied, 'Well, if we could find a fuel-powered generator, we could get electricity again... But the chances of it lasting long are small. And we'd constantly need fuel.'

'But there's no saying that we can't play handhelds,' she added, taking out a DSi which was quite obviously stolen - most likely from a kid at school, 'I charged this thing up last night, so...'

"Awesome" he replied. He took off his hoodie and spilt all the contents of his pockets onto the sofa. There was a half-pack of peppermint gum, his phone, 2 biro pens, some paper and a games cartridge. He walked over to the mantlepiece where his own DSi was sitting. He picked it up and blew the dust off it. "I haven't played this baby in a while. What game do you have?"

'I've got Luminous Arc 2, Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Naruto Shippuden 2, Mariokart, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon DS Cute, Harvest Moon DS, Bleach: The Third Phantom, Pokemon Platinum, Advanced Wars: Dark Conflict and Final Fantasy: Echoes of Time,' she replied, taking the R4i card out of her DSi, 'All stored on this thing.'

'What about you?' she added.

"Wowsa" he said shocked at the amount of them. "I don't have very many. Lemme see; Mario Kart DS, ScribbleNauts, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Mario & Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story, Brain Training, Maths Training, New Super Mario Bros., Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits and Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations. At least I think that's all. I think this'll be good fun while it lasts." He showed her his case with all his DS games.

'Yay~' Haiyani chimed, turning on her DSi, 'I get to play with my first friend.'

"Wanna race on Mario Kart?" he asked eagerly slotting the cartridge into the back of the console. "Or we can just make flipnotes? Your choice."

'Race first,' Haiyani chimed, opening the R4i menu and selecting Mariokart DS, 'It's apparently really fun to play multi.'

"Sure as hell is" he replied starting it up. They heard the famous chime of It's a me-Mario and started playing. "Who you playing as? I'm ROB."

BIC- Matt doesnt want to be alone so he just drags Kared along to the weapons shop.

BIC: Cormac and Haiyani continued racing against each other. It was great fun. They both loved the joy of eachothers company.

Haiyani was enjoying having a friend. It was all new, but she liked it a hell of a lot more than her old life.

Cormac loved seeing Hayani happy for once. He could tell she was grateful and this was one of the 1st times she'd had a good time.

They played for a long time, but it seemed like no time at all before the lights turned to red.
