"That's a good girl. Now come on Matt, don't be a chicken." Cormac said, starting to imitate a chicken.

"I was just statign the obvious." Matt sprints to the others.

'He's weird,' Haiyani said, 'Not like you guys aren't.'

She pointed at Matt (K).

'Especially you,' she said, her eyes narrowing.

"Hey" he said angrily towards Haiyani "Don't be mean. You're probably the strangest of the lot of us. Now c'mon and stop wasting my bloody time." He raced on without them.

'I know,' Haiyani replied, 'But iving in care does that to people.'

She was keeping up with Cormac all the time.

"Hmm, where's he going now? If you can't keep up with me, I'm not gonna wait." She ran on, still following Matt.

Matt

"Hey! At least you havent been poisened! It was nasty stuff."

"Lol, I thought I had a hard life but I get it off easy compared to you guys." He said, still while 'stalking' Matt.

'Yeah, well, this is a good thing for me,' Haiyani pointed out, 'If the electricity hadn't gone, it'd be perfect.'

She was still moving onwards

"Pah!" perfect! Perfect doesnt exsist in my world! Everything goes normal. Never perfect."

'Dude, the social workers seemed bent on killing me,' Haiyani replied, 'I haven't exactly lived the cushy life.'

"Can we stop being pessimistic guys? You're all seeming kinda depressed. Come on, let's have a little bit of fun!"

Yeah, Cormac is right, lets just have a laugh

'Meh,' Haiyani replied, 'He's bent on saying that his life is terrible. He should just live in the moment.'

"Come on, Haerd." Cormac replied. "If these guys are gonna be like this then we don't wanna be with them, right? We can have our own little 'tringa.' "

Matt

"Ok then good bye let us people with EXPERIENCE stay away from the rooks!"

Haiyani sat down where she landed and buried her head in her arms.

'I want to fit in...' she sighed.

"Yeah like you have experience" Cormac tutted at Matt while rolling his eyes. "As for you, Haiyani, just be a bit more happy."

'It's hard to adjust to happiness when all you've ever known is sadness,' Haiyani replied, 'But I'll try.'

"Remember earlier, when it was just us too? We were as happy as a newly-wed couple. Come with us, I don't wanna lose you. We'll be great together." He said with his million-dollar smile.

'Okay,' she replied, standing up. She smiled slightly. She was trying.

Cormac helped her up on her feet. Her took her hand and kissed her.

Haiyani blushed. She'd never been kissed before - not ever. She smiled, not quite knowing what to do.
