Kevo: Witness, state your name and occupation.

Sun: Sun. Like my brother I am also a missionary, purifying the water of the third world.

Judge: According to this report, you're the victim's brother correct?

Sun: That's right.

Judge: Moving on then. I'm sure that the detective has told you why you are here?

Sun: *nods* He did, and on my way here, I think I know what the motive could be. In fact, I may have thought of it a while ago. You see...I've met Hammer Bro. before.

Judge: I see! Let's proceed with the testimony.



-Why Hammer Bro. is guilty-

On the night of the murder, I was expecting my brother to visit.

You see, he just came back from his trip in Borginia after successfully purifying all the water in the lakes from an outbreak of pirates polluting them with waste.

Twi told me that he'd be around my place at the Random District hotel just next to the car park.

He said that he'd bring a bottle of whisky to celebrate and that we'd talk about the trip.

I know Hammer Bro. as a drinker as every now and then I go to the Random District pub for some light drinking - though his drinking isn't so light.

What I'm claiming is that when my brother stepped out of his car with the bottle of whiskey, he was attacked by a drunk Hammer Bro. who tried to steal it.

I-I don't know if it was an accident or not...but in that struggle he killed him. That's the only viable motive I can think of.

-Why Hammer Bro. is guilty-

Routledge: We also spoke to the owner of the Random District pub and can confirm from him and the people in there that Hammer Bro. is indeed a regular. Additionally, please check the list of evidence which shows the incriminating fingerprints on several items belonging to Twi. That is all.

Judge: Mr. Cormsie, begin your cross-examination.

I take it you were at the hotel at the time of the crime?

Sun: Yes. I didn't leave my apartment that night.

ANd what were you doing at the time?

Sun: I was reading. He never came so I just assumed his flight was delayed. He doesn't have a mobile phone, so I couldn't call him.

When did you find out about his murder and what were your initial reactions?

Sun: It was around half 1 when the police knocked on my door to tell me about the murder. I was horrified. They questioned me what I did that night and I was found to be unrelated to the murder.

Then I don't see why you are here today *under breath* This is such a waste of time. *cough*

Anyway, do you know the witness 'k' at all?

Sun: I was brought here to establish the motive, and that's what I've done. What you haven't done, however, is disprove what I've said.

And no, I've only met him today.

Judge: The witness has a point. Mr. Corsmie, I'm afraid that if you cannot find something wrong with this piece of testimony, this trial may be over very soon. Otherwise, like you've said, continuing may just be a waste of time.

Mr. Kevo, what are your opinions on this?

I don't think I have much more to say, no.

I think that Mr Sun has proved a very useful source. Thank you very much *bows*. This proves a motive for Mr Hammer. He was drunk!!!!!!!!!!!

Judge: Very well. With the Defence having nothing more to say, and with no more room to doubt these facts, I can now pronounce the verdict. I find the defendant Hammer Bro.:



Bailiff, take Hammer Bro. back to his cell, and in a month's time he will be tried by the higher courts. The court is now adjourned.

*the Judge leaves his seat and makes his out of the courtroom.*

As the Prosecution prepares to pack away, the Defence stands there, hands on head and thinking about what just happened.
