As far as I understand, the first time you go online you are asked to pick a name to use as your... well, name I guess XD You can use that to add people I think, a bit like the Xbox or PS3.

Meh, to me MHT looks a bit like your average old boring adventure RPG kinda game. It doesn't interest me. I'm more into SMG2 and that game Fling Smash looks pretty epic too.
