The Random District Bank? What’s this then?

The Random District Bank is the place where everyone’s savings of DR$ will be recorded. The thread where all money is kept track of, with who has what. As soon as you earn your first DR$, you will have an account automatically open, so there is absolutely no need to 'sign up'. If you get any DR$, you will see them in this thread. You simply use the thread to keep track of how much you have. There is no reason for you to post here unless you are the host of a game that is using the DR$.

Hold on a second! The DR$?

The DR$ is a currency for use on Forum Games and Quizzes that can be used across games. You can earn money in one game, and spend it in another. How exactly you earn the money depends on the game, and what you can spend the money on is decided by the host. This thread keeps track of all the money you have so that the system can work.

Name of currency: The District Random Dollar
Abbreviation: DR$
Example: This costs DR$300 (300 District Random Dollars)

Okay, so what do I have to do?

Nothing! Carry on playing games as you would. But now, in some games, you may start earning DR$, and you may see things for sale with a price given in DR$. If you want to buy something, just check this thread to see how much money you have. If you have enough, post in that thread and buy it in whatever way the host specifies/the game runs. The host will deal with the transferral of funds from the bank, so you don’t have to worry about any of that. The idea is that this will make games more fun, without making them anymore complicated!

I’m on this thread now. Where is my account?

Just scroll down. If you have any money, it will be listed next to your name in the post below. If your name isn’t there, it means you don’t have any money yet. As soon as you earn your first ONM Pound, your account will automatically open. If you’ve just earned some DR$, but it hasn’t been updated yet, don’t worry. It can take a while from when you earn the money to the money appearing in your account. It shouldn’t take too long though, so if you think there is a problem, PM the banker.

I’m a host of a game/quiz/competition and I want to use the District Random Dollar. What do I do?

Go ahead! The bank has ended the trial period, becoming fully operational. As the host, you will be trusted to give out a reasonable amount of money, and to set reasonable costs for items etc. in game. The bank reserves the right to deny deposits and withdrawals if they are deemed unreasonable, but don't worry, this shouldn't effect you! If you are in any doubt on how you should implement the DR$ system, you can PM the banker (currently this is RawrMeister) or alternatively just ask in the Forum Games discussion thread!

My game is now using the DR$. How should I keep this thread updated?

Whenever you give out any DR$, post in this thread using the following template:

Whenever someone buys something with DR$, first check that they have enough money by looking in this thread before you go through with the sale. If they have enough, please post in this thread using the following template. As the host, you get a 25% cut of the amount spent in the game.

And after each round the 1st place person gets DR$4
2nd place person DR$3
3rd place personDR$2

hmm, i'm currently designing notes, and the lowest is a DR$5 and it goes up to DR$200, so i'd prefer the pirizes to be around... 1st: DR$50
2nd: DR$20
3rd: DR$10
